JPB-50009868

The MAC6000 Mission Coupling is a robust, high-performance flexible connector designed to join 150mm clay pipes to 150mm plastic pipes with a secure, watertight, and long-lasting seal. Manufactured from premium elastomeric materials and reinforced with stainless steel shear bands, it ensures reliable performance in drainage and sewer applications.

Product Features/Specifications:

Constructed from durable EPDM rubber and fitted with corrosion-resistant stainless steel clamps, the MAC6000 provides exceptional flexibility and strength. Its design compensates for minor irregularities between clay and plastic pipes, ensuring a smooth and consistent connection.

Detailed Product Benefits:

The MAC6000 coupling is engineered to handle the toughest underground conditions. Its EPDM rubber body delivers superior resistance to ground movement, moisture, chemicals, and external loads. The precision-engineered stainless steel shear bands create uniform compression, preventing leaks and maintaining joint stability under pressure. This makes it equally suited for new installations, refurbishment works, and emergency repairs. The coupling’s flexible structure helps correct uneven cuts and accommodate slight angular deviations, reducing installation time while improving system reliability.

Applications and Versatility:

Ideal for underground drainage systems, sewer pipe transitions, and repair or maintenance work, the MAC6000 is specifically designed for situations where 150mm clay pipework needs securely connecting to 150mm plastic pipework. It is suitable for use across residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects, offering dependable performance in both new build and retrofit environments.

Features & Benefits List:

  • Suitable for 150mm clay to 150mm plastic connections
  • Made from high-quality EPDM rubber for durability
  • Features 316 stainless steel shear bands for maximum strength
  • Provides a flexible, airtight, and watertight seal
  • Absorbs minor misalignments and ground movement
  • Fast and simple installation—no specialist tools required
  • Ideal for repairs, upgrades, and mixed-material pipework systems

Technical Specifications:

  • Compatibility: 150mm clay pipe to 150mm plastic pipe
  • Material: EPDM rubber with 316 stainless steel clamp bands
  • Typical Use: Underground drainage and sewer applications
  • Performance: Meets industry standards for flexible couplings
  • Environment: Suitable for long-term below-ground installation

Additional Information:

For best results, ensure all pipe surfaces are clean before installation. Tighten clamps gradually and evenly to achieve optimal sealing pressure. Palletised delivery may apply for larger quantities.
