JPB-50009874

The MAC1922 Mission Coupling is a robust, high-quality flexible reducer designed to securely connect 170–192mm pipework to 110–125mm pipework. Manufactured from industrial-grade elastomeric rubber and reinforced with stainless steel shear bands, it provides a dependable, watertight solution for adapting between large and medium pipe diameters in demanding drainage and sewer applications.

Product Features/Specifications:

This coupling features a wide-range EPDM rubber body that accommodates variations in pipe material and diameter, combined with durable stainless steel clamping bands that ensure strong, even sealing pressure across both pipe interfaces. Designed for underground use, it delivers excellent flexibility and long-term performance.

Detailed Product Benefits:

The MAC1922 is engineered for reliability in heavy-duty underground environments. Its EPDM rubber construction provides exceptional resistance to chemicals, ground moisture, temperature shifts, and soil settlement. The stainless steel shear bands apply consistent radial pressure, creating a leak-free connection even under load or vibration.

The reducer design allows installers to transition between significantly different pipe diameters without the need for rigid reducers or specialised adaptors. The coupling compensates for irregular pipe ends, minor misalignment, and dimensional variations—reducing installation time and improving system reliability, especially in retrofit and repair situations.

Applications and Versatility:

Perfect for use in underground drainage systems, sewer pipelines, infrastructure repairs, and mixed-diameter pipe transitions, the MAC1922 allows for secure connection between 170–192mm pipework and 110–125mm pipework. Suitable for clay, plastic, concrete, and similar materials, it is widely used in civil engineering, commercial groundwork, and major refurbishment projects.

Features and Benefits

  • Connects 170–192mm pipes to 110–125mm pipes
  • Made from durable EPDM rubber for long-term underground stability
  • Fitted with 316 stainless steel shear bands for maximum sealing strength
  • Provides a flexible, watertight, and airtight connection
  • Handles ground movement and pipe misalignment
  • Easy to install—no specialist tools required
  • Suitable for both major repairs and new drainage installations

Technical Specifications:

  • Compatibility: 170–192mm pipe to 110–125mm pipe
  • Materials: EPDM rubber body with 316 stainless steel clamp bands
  • Applications: Underground drainage, sewer systems, large-diameter reduction
  • Performance: Meets industry requirements for flexible and reducer couplings
  • Environment: Suitable for long-term below-ground installation

Additional Information:
